Kicking off in mid-June is a rich program of special events featuring culture, art, nature, wellness, and food and wine at 30 Foundation properties, exceptionally open until late.<\/h5>\n
A three-month journey from north to south Italy with over 350 unique visitor experiences, including concerts and theater performances, open-air film festivals, aperitifs and themed dinners, yoga sessions, family-friendly fairy tales, astronomical observations, and nature treks.<\/em><\/h5>\n

The initiative<\/strong><\/h3>\n

From mid-June to mid-September 2026, 30 FAI (Italian Environmental Fund)<\/strong> properties will be decked out for summer nights.<\/p>\n

Opening hours will be extended<\/strong> to host over 350 experiences spanning culture, art, history, nature, wellness, and flavors in 15 regions of Italy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The long-awaited “FAI Summer Evenings<\/a><\/strong>” returns, a rich three-month calendar of unique and extraordinary initiatives<\/strong> to enjoy the timeless charm of the Foundation’s properties from new and unexpected perspectives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can attend a concert in the heart of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, surrounded by centuries-old citrus and olive trees,<\/p>\n

or in the magical atmosphere of the forest at the foot of the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi,<\/p>\n

watch an arthouse film in the largest private park in Bergamo Alta,<\/p>\n

or discover the secrets of the celestial vault on the night of San Lorenzo in a medieval castle.<\/p>\n

Villa Rezzola<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The FAI properties involved include castles, delightful villas, abbeys, natural areas, historic buildings, architectural masterpieces, and, for the first time, Villa Rezzola in Lerici (SP)<\/strong>, a historic residence overlooking the Gulf of Poets.<\/p>\n

From July 10th to September 18th, the splendid English garden offers guided sunset tours and tastings on the panoramic terrace.<\/p>\n

We start on June 18th<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The “FAI Summer Evenings” program kicks off the week of June 15th<\/strong> with two unmissable poetry<\/strong> events:<\/p>\n

On Thursday, June 18th<\/strong>, Palazzo Moroni in Bergamo<\/strong> will host \u201cPoetica. Voci di donne dal Rinascimento al Contemporaneo\u201d<\/strong>, an evening dedicated to women’s poetry, from the Renaissance voices of Isotta Brembati and Tullia d’Aragona to contemporary poetry slam<\/em>.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, June 21st<\/strong>, the Orto sul Colle dell’Infinito in Recanati (MC)<\/strong> will host “Leopardi a prova di voce<\/strong>” an event curated by Roberto Galaverni.<\/p>\n

will continue until mid-September<\/strong>, from regenerative yoga sessions<\/strong> in nature at Villa Gregoriana in Tivoli<\/strong> (Rome)<\/p>\n

to forest immersions<\/strong> in the I Giganti della Sila<\/strong> Nature Reserve (Cosenza).<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can enjoy sunset aperitifs<\/strong> in the garden of Velarca in Tremezzina (Como)<\/strong>, the historic boathouse designed by the Milanese studio BBPR,<\/p>\n

at Villa Necchi Campiglio<\/strong> in the heart of Milan<\/strong>, designed by Piero Portaluppi between 1930 and 1932,<\/p>\n

and at Avio Castle <\/strong>in Sabbionara d\u2019Avio (Trento)<\/strong>, home to precious “Giotto-esque” painting cycles dedicated to love and war.<\/p>\n

There will also be plenty of events designed for children<\/strong>, such as bedtime stories<\/strong> read at the Orto sul Colle dell\u2019Infinito<\/strong><\/p>\n

or the initiative dedicated to Nocturnal Creatures<\/strong>, walks to learn about the small mammals and nocturnal birds of prey that inhabit the park of the Castello di Masino in Caravino (Turin)<\/strong> and the Bosco di San Francesco in Assisi (Perugia)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There will also be festivals<\/strong>, such as the “midsummer<\/strong>” one at the Torba Monastery in Gornate Olona (Varese),<\/strong><\/p>\n

and the rediscovery of popular culture and traditions with Grika<\/strong>, the first event on Grika culture at the Abbey of Santa Maria di Cerrate in Lecce<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

and the Night of the Christ of the Abyss<\/strong>, with the evening opening of the Abbey of San Fruttuoso (Genoa)<\/strong>, a diver procession, and the village lit up by candles.<\/p>\n

There are many music-themed<\/strong> events to choose from: Jazz, Opera, and Swing Aperitifs at Casa Macchi in Morazzone (VA),<\/strong><\/p>\n

Traditional Calabrian music<\/strong> performances at the Giganti della Sila, Songs and Tales<\/strong> at the Abbey of Cerrate<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

Flamenco dance<\/em>, and live performances by artist Claudia Aru<\/strong>, saxophonist Juri Deidda<\/strong>, and violinist Simone Soro<\/strong> at the Saline Conti Vecchi in Assemini (CA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Goodnight Concert will be held at the Bosco di San Francesco<\/strong>, in the magical clearing of Michelangelo Pistoletto’s Terzo Paradiso.<\/p>\n

Among the centuries-old citrus and olive trees of the Kolymbethra Garden<\/strong> in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento<\/strong>, Daniele Magro<\/strong> and young harpist Kety Fusco<\/strong> will perform.<\/p>\n

Dinner under the stars<\/strong> in the courtyard of the Torba Monastery<\/strong> on the night of San Lorenzo,<\/p>\n

and sunset picnics<\/strong> in the scenic Italian garden of Villa Della Porta Bozzolo in Casalzuigno (VA).<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be no shortage of open-air cinema<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Following the success of the past “FAI Summer Evenings,” the series “Astronomers for a Night” will be offered at an increasing number of locations: observations of the starry sky led by experts and amateur astronomers.<\/p>\n

There will also be open-air cinema<\/strong> in the gardens of Palazzo Moroni, Villa dei Vescovi in \u200b\u200bLuvigliano di Torreglia (PD), Castello della Manta in Manta (CN), and the Saline Conti Vecchi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And a food and wine journey through fine wines and typical local products<\/strong> will be offered at<\/p>\n

Fuori Cantina<\/strong> at the Giardino della Kolymbethra<\/strong>, Castello della Manta<\/strong>, and Villa Rezzola<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
