Orticola 2022 was held at the Giardini Indro Montanelli in Milan, involving 160 nurserymen and numerous activities. Despite the rain, the public came in large numbers to discover new plants, meetings, exhibitions and garden furniture. The proceeds will go towards the city’s greenery. The program also included FuoriOrticola events and visits to Milanese museums and gardens. The initiative promotes botanical culture and urban beauty, involving citizens and professionals.<\/h5>\n

Orticola 2022: What is? When and where was the exhibition held?<\/h2>\n

Did you imagine that the proceeds of Orticola are destined for the green city of Milano? No? Well a nice use, don’t you think?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Orticola was born in 1996 and has always been held in the Gardens of Milan today called Indro Montanelli, but historically “of Porta Venezia” or “Public Gardens of Via Palestro” former city zoo where there are the Civic Planetarium and the Natural History Museum between Corso Venezia and Via Manin.<\/p>\n

You can get off on the red line at Porta Venezia or Palestro and you will be very comfortable!<\/p>\n

If at the first edition there were 37 nurserymen, today there are 160 of them. This latest edition took place for the most part in an intense and annoying rain, but the Milanese do not allow themselves to be discouraged by this nonsense and have presented themselves in numerous exhibitions and meetings by booking online or at the entrance.<\/p>\n

Lots of activities planned for the Milano Orticola Show<\/h2>\n

Nurserymen from all over Italy brought their best crops, but there were also producers of elegant and refined vases, beautiful and handmade garden decorations in treated metal, poignant birdhouses, trendy wicker furniture, fabrics and workwear in the garden, magazines, etc.<\/p>\n

Among the meetings to report there is certainly the first edition of “Dialogues in the garden” with meetings, debates and presentations that took place between the stands and in the meeting area.<\/p>\n

Presentation of books, Biopools, secrets on the cultivation of hydrangeas, passion flowers, peonies, water lilies, Japanese maples, acidophilic, orchids etc., of Bee Hotel, but also how to weave branches, presentations of prestigious gardens to visit or listening to poems or regenerative painting of the soul.<\/p>\n

There was also a guided tour of the public gardens for the “Pills of Meneghine (of Milano) Stories”.<\/p>\n

In short, a very rich program that was worth studying before going, so as not to miss anything that was of interest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

OrticolaOff 2022: The Show Orticola beyond the Indro Montanelli Gardens<\/h2>\n

Having to organize more than one day given the commitments of the program, the advice for visits was really numerous.<\/p>\n

You could start by accepting the FuoriOrticola (OrticolaOff) path by preparing marigold oil at Boscoincitt\u00e0, building paper vases in the Orti Condivisi of Via Padova all in Milano, or heading towards the lakes to visit Villa Melzi d’Eril, Villa Carlotta or Villa Monastero.<\/p>\n

FuoriOrticola also allowed, by keeping the Orticola entrance ticket, to visit 15 museums of Milano for free or at a reduced price.<\/p>\n

Other than a couple of days … you had to stay in Milano for a week! You know what an effort given the beauty!<\/p>\n

Green spaces in Milan recommended by Il Mondo del Giardino<\/h1>\n

Staying in Milano you could also stroll and visit the wonderful public and private gardens of Milano. Milano has many green spaces, many of which are dedicated to modern heroes.<\/strong> You will find on the internet all the information about these.<\/p>\n

Instead, I would like to point out those with particular botanical characteristics such as the “Botanical Garden of Brera”, the BAM (Library of the Trees of Milan), the “Vineyard of Leonardo”, the Guastalla Gardens and the FAI garden of Villa Necchi-Campiglio – not always open – of the most rigorous Art Deco taste.<\/p>\n

Tantissime attivit\u00e0 in programma per la Mostra Orticola di Milano<\/h2>\r\n

Vivaisti da tutta Italia hanno portato le loro migliori coltivazioni, ma ci sono stati anche produttori di eleganti e raffinati vasi, bellissime e handmade (fatte a mano) decorazioni da giardino in metallo trattato, struggenti casette per gli uccelli, arredo in midollino di tendenza, tessuti ed abbigliamento da lavoro in giardino, riviste, ecc.<\/p>\r\n

Tra gli incontri da segnalare c\u2019\u00e8 sicuramente la prima edizione di \"Dialoghi in giardino\" con incontri, dibattiti e presentazioni che si sono svolti tra gli stand e nell\u2019area incontri.<\/p>\r\n

Presentazione di libri, Biopiscine, segreti sulla coltivazione di ortensie, passiflore, peonie, ninfee, aceri giapponesi, acidofile, orchidee ecc., di Bee Hotel, ma anche come intrecciare rami, presentazioni di giardini prestigiosi da visitare o l\u2019ascolto di poesie o pittura rigenerativa dell\u2019anima.<\/p>\r\n

C\u2019\u00e8 stata anche una visita guidata ai giardini pubblici per le \"Pillole di Storie Meneghine\".<\/p>\r\n

FuoriOrticola 2022: La Mostra Orticola oltre i Giardini Indro Montanelli<\/h2>\r\n

Dovendo organizzare pi\u00f9 di un giorno visti gli impegni del programma, i consigli per le visite erano veramente numerosi.<\/p>\r\n

Si poteva partire dall\u2019accettare il percorso del FuoriOrticola preparando l\u2019olio di calendula al Boscoincitt\u00e0, costruendo vasi di carta agli Orti Condivisi di Via Padova tutto a Milano, o dirigendosi verso i laghi per la visita di Villa Melzi d\u2019Eril, Villa Carlotta o Villa Monastero.<\/p>\r\n

FuoriOrticola permetteva anche, conservando il biglietto di ingresso di Orticola, di visitare gratuitamente o a prezzo ridotto 15 musei milanesi.<\/p>\r\n

Altro che un paio di giorni\u2026bisognava stare a Milano una settimana! Spazi verdi a Milano consigliati da Il Mondo del Giardino<\/h1>\r\n

Rimanendo a Milano si poteva anche passeggiare e visitare i meravigliosi giardini pubblici e privati di Milano. Milano ha moltissimi spazi verdi, molti dei quali dedicati a eroi moderni.<\/strong> Troverete su internet tutte le informazioni su questi.<\/p>\r\n

Infine si segnala che l\u2019Associazione Orticola di Lombardia segue e finanzia, tra le altre, piccole, ma importanti riqualifiche verdi di spazi a servizio di musei o edifici storici che vale la pena visitare.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Per quanto riguarda l\u2019edizione dell\u2019anno prossimo 2023 potrete trovare tutte le informazioni sull\u2019organizzazione del nuovo evento sul sito www.orticola.org<\/a><\/span> a partire dal 21 marzo 2023.<\/p>\r\n

Ora che abbiamo acquistato piante alle quali non abbiamo saputo resistere siamo pronti a piantarle nel nostro giardino. Speriamo solo che prima di partire abbiate concentrato un attimo la vostra attenzione su quali punti del giardino meritavano qualche nuova essenza e di che grandezza - circa - cos\u00ec da non incedere in acquisti \"scellerati\"<\/p>\r\n
