The “Fiori nella Rocca (Flowers in the Fortress)” market exhibition took place from 14 to 16 April 2023 in Lonato del Garda, in the suggestive Rocca and in the Casa del Podest\u00e0 Museum. Among rare plants, fragrant herbs, ancient roses, hydrangeas and crafts, the event offered three exhibition levels. The Captain’s House and the Casa del Podest\u00e0 Museum<\/h3>\n

There are mainly two rooms in the fortress: the captain’s house which today houses a precious ornithological collection made up of around seven hundred beautifully preserved specimens and the podest\u00e0’s house museum.<\/p>\n

This mansion of Venetian origin was purchased and lived in by Senator Ugo da Como who, as an enlightened man of culture and politics as he was, restored and lived in the property, maintaining its original appearance as much as possible and also making use of a beamed ceiling and painted lunettes and a pink marble fireplace belonging to the demolished Palazzo Cigola in Brescia.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Market Exhibition 2023: The plants on display in the Fortress<\/h2>\n

On the other hand, plants and flowers of very high levels were available on the lawns, presented by nurseries and farms prepared and available for the thousands of questions from visitors.<\/p>\n

Rocca di Lonato del Garda<\/h3>\r\n

La rocca si estende soprattutto in lunghezza ed ha permesso la disposizione degli espositori su tre livelli: quello dentro le mura, dove si possono ammirare i lavori di artigianato legati e non al mondo del verde, quello intermedio, fuori dalle mura, dove sono posizionati piante, concimi ed un buonissimo caff\u00e8 e quello pi\u00f9 basso dove si presentano associazioni e corsi.<\/p>\r\n

La casa del capitano ed il Museo Casa del Podest\u00e0<\/h3>\r\n

I locali della rocca sono prevalentemente due: la casa del capitano che oggi ospita una preziosa collezione ornitologica composta da circa settecento esemplari conservati magnificamente e il museo casa del podest\u00e0.<\/p>\r\n

Questa magione di origine veneziana, venne acquistata e vissuta dal senatore Ugo da Como che, da illuminato uomo di cultura e di politica qual era, restaur\u00f2 e abit\u00f2 la propriet\u00e0 mantenendone il pi\u00f9 possibile l\u2019aspetto originario e avvalendosi anche di un soffitto a travi e lunette dipinte e di un camino in marmo rosa appartenenti al demolito Palazzo Cigola di Brescia.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

Mostra mercato 2023: Le piante in mostra nei giardini della Rocca<\/h2>\r\n

Sui prati sono stati disponibili invece piante e fiori di livelli altissimi, presentate da vivai e aziende agricole preparate e disponibili per le mille domande dei visitatori.<\/p>\r\n

Abbiamo scoperto gerani dalle foglie profumate di limone e di menta, rose ed ortensie antiche e moderne, concimi e prodotti fitosanitari naturali oltre che enormi piante grasse e rare orchidee.<\/p>\r\n
