From 13 to 15 October, the Flora et Decora 2023 market exhibition animated the City Life district of Milan. Among green areas, iconic architecture and gazebos full of plants, crafts and food, visitors enjoyed a relaxing and stimulating experience. An event that combined nature, design and sociality in an excellent urban context, with excellent public participation and a pleasant atmosphere.<\/h5>\n

FLORA ET DECORA: A VERY PLEASANT MARKET EXHIBITION!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Between 13 and 15 October, the Flora et Decora market exhibition was held in the City Life district of Milan. The gazebos were distributed along the green paths of the beautifully designed park at the foot of the buildings. We tasted delicious food and bought healthy plants while walking pleasantly.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The City Life neighborhood<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The City Life neighborhood was born in 2009 on the visionary projects of Arata Isozaki,  Daniel Libeskind  and  Zaha Hadid. In fact you can enjoy unique and amazing upward views. Each of the three towers is designed by a star architect and the residential buildings are also by Liberskind and Zaha Hadid. Together with the buildings, an external space of shops and paved outdoor spaces protected from atmospheric agents with porticoes and galleries is designed. The shopping center allows you to shop and eat out and the dedicated and central metro stop and the car parks below can be accessed comfortably. Around all this gravitates a green park full of walkways (perhaps a few benches) for families and sportsmen.<\/p>\n

The park<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The park, of almost 31,000 m2. Green and 170,000 in total area, it was designed by Gustavson Porter who, with One Works, won the competition in 2010 by presenting the project “A park between the mountains and the plain”. We are talking about 1750 trees housed, of which almost 300 are newly planted. It hosts the urban flower gardens managed by the Cooperativa del Sole, which if you want to visit, will accompany you on their discovery.<\/p>\n

Flora et Decora: the Decora area<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Fabric gazebos, bamboo scarves, clothes, decorations and high-end craftsmanship gave us the desire to buy everything. We held back but it was hard.<\/p>\n

We encountered excellences such as the Barni Roses, Gardenesque, Fenix \u200b\u200bFloricoltura, the citrus fruits of Trio Antonina and Green Oasi of Maurizio Antonino and we had to stop there too!<\/p>\n

Flora et Decora: the restaurant area<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We happened to taste some special dried fruit cut into very thin slices which however kept the flavor of the original fruit intact: a delicacy. We refreshed ourselves for lunch with a healthy mixed salad which today is called pok\u00e8 under a hot but not too hot sun and a very blue sky streaked with harmless clouds.<\/p>\n

The visitors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our walk between chatting and observing also allowed us to enjoy the sight of many families, couples, many well-kept dogs, many accompanied grandparents. In short, a healthy humanity at rest in its free time: distracted, meeting and exchanging a few words with neighbors and acquaintances, recovering that quality time that we need so much.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Tra il 13 ed il 15 di Ottobre si \u00e8 tenuta, nel quartiere City Life di Milano, la mostra mercato Flora et Decora. I gazebi erano distribuiti lungo i percorsi verdi del parco, meravigliosamente progettato, ai piedi degli edifici. Abbiamo assaggiato cibi buonissimi e comprato piante sane passeggiando piacevolmente.<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

Il quartiere City Life<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Il quartiere City Life nasce nel 2009 sui progetti visionari di Arata Isozaki,\u00a0Daniel Libeskind\u00a0e\u00a0Zaha Hadid. Infatti si pu\u00f2 godere di panorami verso l\u2019alto unici e stupefacenti. Ognuna delle tre torri \u00e8 progettata da un\u2019archistar e di Liberskind e Zaha Hadid sono anche gli edifici di abitazione. Insieme agli edifici viene progettato uno spazio esterno di negozi e spazi all\u2019aperto pavimentati e protetti dagli agenti atmosferici con porticati e gallerie. Il centro commerciale permette di fare la spesa e mangiare fuori e la fermata della metro dedicata e centrale ed i parcheggi sottostanti di accedere comodamente. Il Parco<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Il parco, di quasi 31.000 mq. Verdi e 170.000 di area totale \u00e8 stato disegnato da Gustavson Porter che, con One Works, ha vinto il concorso nel 2010 presentando il progetto \u201cUn parco fra le montagne e la pianura\u201c. Si parla di 1750 alberi alloggiati di cui quasi 300 di nuovo impianto. Ospita gli orti fioriti urbani gestiti dalla Cooperativa del Sole, che se volete visitare, vi accompagner\u00e0 alla loro scoperta.<\/p>\r\n

Gazebi di tessuti, foulard di bamb\u00f9, abiti, decorazioni e artigianato di alto livello ci hanno regalato il desiderio di comprare tutto. Flora et Decora: l\u2019area Ristora<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Ci \u00e8 capitato di assaggiare della frutta essiccata speciale tagliata in lamine sottilissime che per\u00f2 mantenevano intatto il sapore del frutto di partenza: una leccornia. Ci siamo rifocillati a pranzo con una sana insalata mista che oggi si chiama pok\u00e8 sotto un sole caldo ma non troppo ed un cielo azzurrissimo striato di nuvole innocue.<\/p>\r\n

I visitatori<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

La nostra passeggiata tra chiacchiere e osservazione ci ha permesso di godere anche della vista di molte famiglie, coppie, tanti cani tenuti bene, tanti nonni accompagnati. Insomma, un\u2019umanit\u00e0 sana a riposo nel suo tempo libero: svagata, che incontra e scambia due parole con i vicini ed i conoscenti, il recupero di quel tempo di qualit\u00e0 che tanto abbiamo bisogno.<\/p>\r\n
