\nI have often wondered if the beauty of a composition with natural elements could act as a mirror for us: can we, through Nature, trace paths that give us back a piece of ourselves, define our center and our place in the world?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
This is what Milena Bellonotto writes at the beginning of this article in which she talks about her experience as an orthotherapist.<\/p>\n
Milena is a pioneer!<\/strong><\/h3>\n
It is a pioneering work that seeks to change the world by revealing every individuality.<\/p>\n
Because every person who has improved themselves with horticultural therapy will then, in the world, behave in a new way, shaping the reality around them and positively setting in motion the famous butterfly effect.<\/p>\n
The pleasure of doing a small thing that then turns into a great lesson is also a return to a slower time and making space within oneself for important things.<\/p>\n
The external silence while working with your hands in the earth sometimes becomes internal silence that allows you to ask yourself questions and give yourself structural answers. Other times there is noise, but good chatter, which opens the soul, perhaps just to ask the right questions, which is no small feat.<\/p>\n
Internal silence allows the conscious self to stand aside and listen to the unconscious self and its right needs without all that superstructure of useless fears that we manage to build ourselves every day.<\/p>\n
Orthotherapy works because it focuses on the potential of each person, and here is Milena’s story.<\/p>\n

Every life deserves a novel<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mirroring and new perspectives through Nature<\/strong><\/h3>\n
When I work as an Orthotherapist and, in general, in the field of transformative processes through nature, I usually collect\/welcome, observe and investigate the elements of the plant world, evaluating their possible interactions with the human being, in order to be able to use in the activities I propose.<\/p>\n

Theory in practice<\/strong><\/h3>\n
I therefore asked a group of women, who were working on the theme of the conscious feminine through a counseling process, to participate in a personal introspection workshop through the (unmeditated but casual) search for natural elements, with a single objective: to seek elements of Nature different from each other in shape, texture and consistency.<\/p>\n
For several days, the people involved “collected-welcomed” a natural element by placing it in a box, resulting in a fair amount of seeds, capsules, sticks, pine cones, dried fruits and pieces of bark. The final result consisted of a cataloging of the elements – according to criteria of commonality or divergence – which led to considering, on the basis of observation, states of mind or conditions of one’s experience, in a sort of logbook of thoughts, of the emotions and feelings that the participants experienced in the days that have passed since the research began.<\/p>\n

The discoveries<\/strong><\/h3>\n
\n\u201cI look at<\/em> this improvised collection and what was not clear before is now evident: the anger and frustration of the past few days, but also the sharp edges and lightness of my character have taken shape through the elements I have collected, almost as if they were the signs of a map”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Is Nature a mirror of us? The appointments<\/strong><\/h3>\n
The alphabet of Diversity. Building relationships and educating looks<\/em><\/strong> it is a theme to which I am very attached and it was also the title of a collaborative and co-participated training – with the Architect and Ecodesigner Antonia Teatino – which strengthened this operational mode of mine, allowing me to explore new territories and experiment with crossover between different knowledge, both as an orthotherapist and as an operator and designer in the cultural field.<\/p>\n
The Garden is a Story<\/em><\/strong>, for example, an informative event for sector enthusiasts, was born from the meeting with Maurizio Zarpellon (garden designer, nature photographer and writer) with the aim of illustrating the potential that literature offers in interpreting, motivating and giving voice to own existences and to give an extra tool to those who want to create their own garden – physical and metaphorical – inspired by authors and gardeners who, like unconscious therapists (or Masters, to put it in the Eastern language), can show us the way to design our own life and our garden.<\/p>\n

Is nature a mirror of us? The Garden is a symbolically perfect microcosm<\/strong><\/h3>\n
and representative of the life cycle, a source of countless benefits for physical and psychological health, but also a place of growth, reflection and experimentation at all ages; for all these reasons the garden reserves an infinite number of applications which are still underestimated today. Just think for example of the potential of the Garden in the tourism, therapeutic and cultural fields which will become central themes of some meetings starting from January 2024.<\/p>\n
For example, we will talk about Gardens as a welcome<\/strong>, thanks to which green accommodation facilities can enhance their garden or green corner with innovative proposals in terms of thematic content for adults, families and children.<\/p>\n
We will also deal with Gardens as a lever for personal change<\/strong> and also with Gardens of<\/strong> the Arts<\/strong>, real or on paper, which always and in any case reveal something about us, since, ultimately, the Garden speaks to Humanity about its own humanity.<\/p>\n

Il piacere di fare una piccola cosa che poi si trasforma in un grande insegnamento \u00e8 anche un tornare ad un tempo pi\u00f9 lento ed al fare spazio dentro di s\u00e9 per le cose importanti.<\/p>\r\n
Il silenzio esterno mentre si lavora con le mani nella terra, alcune volte diventa silenzio interiore che permette di porsi domande e darsi risposte strutturali. Altre volte c\u2019\u00e8 rumore, ma un chiacchiericcio buono, che apre l\u2019anima, magari solo per formulare le giuste domande, che gi\u00e0 non \u00e8 cosa da poco.<\/p>\r\n
Il silenzio interno permette all\u2019io cosciente di mettersi di lato ed ascoltare l\u2019io incosciente e le sue giuste necessit\u00e0 senza tutta quella sovrastruttura di paure inutili che riusciamo a costruirci ogni giorno.<\/p>\r\n

La teoria nella pratica<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n
Ho quindi chiesto ad un gruppo di donne, che stavano lavorando sul tema del femminile consapevole attraverso un percorso di counseling, di partecipare ad un workshop di introspezione personale attraverso la ricerca (non meditata ma casuale) di elementi naturali, con un unico obiettivo: cercare elementi della Natura diversi tra loro per forma, texture e consistenza.<\/p>\r\n
Per diversi giorni, le persone coinvolte hanno \"r-accolto\" un elemento naturale riponendolo in una scatola, arrivando ad avere una discreta quantit\u00e0 tra semi, capsule, legnetti, pigne, frutti secchi e pezzetti di corteccia. \r\n\u201cGuardo<\/em> questa collezione improvvisata e ci\u00f2 che non era chiaro prima, ora \u00e8 evidente: la rabbia e la frustrazione dei giorni scorsi, ma anche le spigolosit\u00e0 e la leggerezza del mio carattere hanno preso forma attraverso gli elementi che ho raccolto, quasi fossero i segni di una mappa\u201d<\/em><\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

La Natura \u00e8 uno specchio di noi? Gli appuntamenti<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n
L\u2019alfabeto della Diversit\u00e0. Costruire relazioni ed educare sguardi<\/em><\/strong> \u00e8 un tema a cui sono molto legata ed \u00e8 anche stato il titolo di una formazione collaborativa e co-partecipata - con l\u2019Architetto ed Ecodesigner Antonia Teatino - che ha rinforzato questa mia modalit\u00e0 operativa, permettendomi di sondare nuovi territori e di sperimentare il crossover tra saperi diversi, sia come ortoterapeuta sia come operatrice e progettista in ambito culturale.<\/p>\r\n

La natura \u00e8 uno specchio di noi? Il Giardino \u00e8 un microcosmo simbolicamente perfetto<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n
e rappresentativo del ciclo di vita, fonte di innumerevoli benefici per la salute fisica e psicologica, ma anche luogo di crescita, rispecchiamento e sperimentazione a tutte le et\u00e0; per tutti questi motivi il giardino riserva un\u2019infinit\u00e0 di applicazioni che ad oggi sono ancora sottostimate. Basti pensare ad esempio alle potenzialit\u00e0 del Giardino in ambito turistico, terapeutico e culturale che diverranno temi centrali di alcuni incontri a partire da Gennaio 2024.<\/p>\r\n
Ad esempio parleremo dei Giardini come accoglienza, <\/strong>grazie al quale strutture ricettive nel verde possono valorizzare il proprio giardino o angolo verde con proposte innovative a livello di contenuti tematici per adulti, famiglie e bambini.<\/p>\r\n
