Spring Markets 2026: The most up-to-date list available!
While compiling our biannual list—one in the spring and one in the fall—we noticed that many of last year’s new events held up this year, and we can now find them even in small, provincial towns. This trend is very pleasing to us.
We have always been convinced that a passion for plants, while it cannot save the world (though perhaps it will), can significantly improve it by bringing those who care for them ever closer to themselves.
Why is this the most up-to-date list? Because if we receive an update or someone contacts us to let us know about a new market or a change in information, we make the changes immediately.
For this reason, we recommend checking the list often during these times.
Happy browsing and… shop wisely!
Here are the usual tips for buying wisely:
The first rule is to buy what you fall in love with!
Yes, we know we’re going against the grain. In reality, we’re talking about harmonious choices. If you always choose what you like, you’ll be sure to create a harmonious environment that reflects your tastes, which is essential in designing your own spaces.
If you want to learn more about this topic, we recommend watching the videos in the ‘Build your garden‘ section.
New and rare varieties, plants in excellent health, ever-changing colors and hybridizations.
Potted plants and plants for the garden. There are many reasons to visit these markets, including buying potting soil, fertilizers, and natural supplements, stylish clothing for gardening, or natural fabrics for leisure. They also often host in-depth discussions on useful gardening topics led by professionals who truly know their stuff. These are people you wouldn’t otherwise meet, and they share their lifelong experience with everyone.
All the Spring Plant Shows in Italy 2026 divided by North, Center and South
The lists are divided by North, Center, and South because we think they’ll be more manageable in length. You’ll find three images and three PDF files that can be viewed and downloaded separately. The events are listed in date order, starting with the earliest ones at the top and ending with the summer ones. You’ll find the date, name of the event, country, address, or exact location with times, and a website or social media profile to follow if you need more information or want to follow that page.
The unwritten rules for leaving the event happy
During these events, very useful meetings are organized, full of essential information for plant growers. It’s a good idea to read the website or social media page first to see if there’s anything you’d like to hear and attend.
Before you go, take a look at the empty spots in your garden and balcony
to figure out what you can fit there and how much space you have in width and height. Also get an idea of the exposure—how much sun it gets per day—and what colors you’d like to see there. This will help you navigate the event and find the most suitable plants.
Buy plants based on pleasure, but keep in mind the work you’ve done.
If you like a plant that grows to 1.5 meters, but you only have 80 cm of space, it’s probably too big and you need to find either a dwarf version or a similar but smaller plant. Alternatively, you can plant it in a pot and then perhaps move it to another area. Here are the PDF files so you can consult the addresses.
